I'm currently in thr process of producing a small project for commercial sale. The dvd is on the history of the villages ballineen & enniskeane in West Cork, its roughly 1hr 15minutes long and consists of recorded media, which i'm currently capturing, jpeg format pictures & music playing in the background, with text over the pictures. What i really want to find out if someone perhaps who's qualified in "Apple, Final Cut Studio" or any other editing courses would be able to edit the DVD, especially in the enhancement of the readability of the text. I also want to narrate the piece and as i have the music playing in the background the sound of it will have to be lowered for the voice over to be heard. And if possible other effects also. This is my first publication so i hope someone can help. I can send on a copy of the DVD if desired, to get a better understanding of what i am doing.
