Award-winning new Irish drama One Hundred Mornings in Mahon Point Cinema from May 6th

"Intelligent, delicate debut" The New York Times Critics Pick

"Excellent" The Irish Times

One Hundred Mornings is the uncompromising and unforgettable new Irish film that asks what would you do if society suddenly collapsed? Two normal Irish couples struggle to stay alive in extraordinary, yet terrifyingly realistic, circumstances. After sell out screening at the The Jameson Dublin International Film Festival it is now hitting the cinema screens in Dublin and Nationwide on May 6th

Holed up in a picturesque cabin near Dublin, the breakdown of communication systems soon leads to struggles over supplies and protection. The tense, claustrophobic, yet beautifully filmed setting proves to be the perfect backdrop for this subtle and assured human drama of increasing desperation, dwindling trust and relationships strained beyond breaking point.

One Hundred Mornings is a fantastic showcase for the talents of the four up-and-coming young stars Kelly Campbell (Bachelor’s Walk, Sensation) Rory Keenan (Zonad, Intermission), Alex Reid (Misfits) and Ciaran McMenamin (Primeval, The Last Confession of Alexander Pearce). Winner Slamdance Film Festival Special Jury Mention for Narrative Fiction, winner of the inaugural Workbook Project Discovery and Distribution Award, Best Cinematography IFTA 2010 and Best Director Award at the San Francisco Irish Film Festival
