Calling all sci-fi film lovers!
Movies by Moonlight at Blackrock Castle Observatory is a film club with a difference, as a guided stargazing session facilitated by BCO astronomers accompanies each screening. In keeping with the theme of astronomy, Movies by Moonlight film club members can look forward to viewing one of the world’s most spectacular sci-fi films each month.
The next Movies by Moonlight event will be held on January 30th at 8pm with a screening of the cult flic from the 90's Fifth Element.
February's screening is Moon by Duncan Jones. The guided observing afterwards should capture spectacular views of the Moon, Mars and Saturn.
Pre-booking essential.5 euro with BCO membership. BCO annual membership is 30 euro.
