Documentary Filmmaking

Short Film-Making: 10 week evening course

A hands-on practical course that covers all the basics of camera, lighting, sound editing and directing. Make a short film from start to finish in ten weeks. Course includes one weekend for shooting and suits beginners and those with a bit of experience alike. All equipment is supplied.

A hands-on, practical evening course (7 - 10 p.m.) in short film making, to be run over ten weeks (including one weekend) designed for entry-level filmmakers with little or no experience - all equipment supplied!
It will give a solid grounding in camera, lighting, sound and editing techniques. Its practical, exercise-based structure will allow all attending a first-hand experience of using equipment and working towards meeting the challenges of short film making.
